For the past 10 years Protea Services Limited was providing Facility Management, Estates Management, Cleaning Services and Security Service to a small group of client. The Company Director, who's background is in the Security Industry, made the decision to split the Company in two as he believed that a well organised and driven Security Company that could provide quality Security Services in South Wales and the South West was needed in the market place.

PGL was formed on the 1st of August 2008 with a focus on Quality Security and Peace of Mind for the client and has gone from strength to strength and now provides Security Services for the Cardiff and Caerphilly Councils, the Welsh National Opera, and several other major clients. The Company has also gained and maintained the Standards and Accreditation as described on the home page within its first 2 and a half years as operations.

MISSION STATEMENT

PGL is to provide quality security to the Industrial and Commercial Sectors through a balanced, hands on approach to ensure all clients needs are met and maintained at the highest standards. To achieve this PGL will maintain all Standards and Accreditations gained; ensure that timely, well researched security advice is provide to the client at all times, maintain 100% manning levels at all assignments; develop a professional relationship with all clients and keep our clients up to date with all new Security Technologies. To ensure all services provided are at the highest standards PGL will continue to select Preferred Suppliers under its strict selection policies and procedures.
